And the winner is....

My September Nutrition Challenge has come to an end! It was a great month for the challenge participants. There was great focus on getting to a point where you all are seeing clean eatingas a lifestyle and not a quick fix or “diet.”What does the Nutrition Challenge entail?● Weekly meal Plan● Weekly recipes● Weekly Motivational tips, and workouts● Daily Myfitnesspal check ins● Challenge participants posting daily recipes/ meal picsSo as you can see, there is a lot of Accountability. I always find that everyone is so excited to start the first week, they do amazing at posting recipes and logging myfitnesspal (mfp). The second week, a few people start skipping days logging mfp or posting required recipes. By week three there are a few people that have completely dropped off. However, by week four there are those that have stuck it out and done amazing with nutrition, mfp and workouts. These last few hardcore people are those that are learning that healthy living is a LIFESTYLE!!!It is absolutely something that doesn’t happen overnight. You need to have the right mindset. If you have a bad meal, bad day, or even bad week - it’s NOT a fail. It’s a chance to start again and learn what works and what doesn’t. You have the chance every single day to make the choice to better yourself physically and mentally by fueling your body with the proper nutrients and exercise.Of course life is meant to be lived and enjoyed, so everything in moderation. If you want a glass of wine - have it! If you want a piece of chocolate - go for it! Just be mindful of moderation and don’t splurge everyday but also don’t get down on yourself if you do treat yourself. Just start back with your healthy lifestyle again the next day.IMG_2830CONGRATULATIONS to Kara Balloch: September Nutrition Challenger Winner!!!!!!
